Young Thug Now Facing Additional Felony Charges After Drugs And Guns Were Found In His Buckhead Home

Things aren’t looking any good for Young Thug, the Atlanta rapper is now facing additional felony charges after investigators found drugs and guns while raiding his buckhead home.

Young Thug was arrested Monday with Gunna and 26 others charged in criminal street activity and racketeering according to the indictment. ATL police chief says they “got one of our top offenders off of the street.”

According to Seiden, “The indictment includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, participation in criminal street gang activity.”

Prosecutors say YSL is a “criminal street gang that started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of ATL. YSL claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang,” reports Seiden.

We also reported earlier that Young Thug’s lyrics will be used against him in court. Young Thug is also accused of allegedly giving two purported YSL members—Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin—permission to make a second attempt to murder YFN Lucci while he’s in the Fulton County Jail.

Thug, born Jeffery Williams, appeared in court for the first time since his arrest yesterday. It remains unknown at this time whether or not he will be allowed bail.

Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, issued a statement to XXL, proclaiming the rapper’s innocence in the matter. “Mr. Williams has committed no violation of law, whatsoever. We will fight this case ethically, legally and zealously. Mr. Williams will be cleared,” he said.
