Larry Blasts Billboard After Doja Cat Won Over Summer Walker In R&B Category
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards held on Sunday night, with several of the biggest honors already been announced.
The prestigious event was hosted by Diddy, who also performed during the event with Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, and Teyana Taylor.
There were lots of big winners but it appears Summer Walker‘s boyfriend Larry isn’t happy with Doja Cat winning over Summer.

Doja Cat took 3 awards home from the event and it’s causing a bit of uproar. According to Larry; Doja Cat shouldn’t have won the R&B category over Summer Walker.
The furious and unimpressed man took to Instagram to call out Billboard. “@billboard explain to me how a pop artist @dojacat wins 2 r&b categories and she has 1 r&b song ever?” He continued, “@billboard numbers don’t lie how did she win?”
As I recall still over it topped @beyonce Lemonade TWICE. How did @summerwalker not win any r&b woman categories I’ll wait,” he added.
It’s caused a bit of debate on social media with folks sharing mixed takes on the issue. Many are saying Doja Cat won because she’s White while others think she’s deserving.
