Kate Moss Testifies In Johnny Depp Trial, Denies Amber Heard’s Rumor That He Once Pushed Her Down The Stairs

Kate Moss testified in the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard on Wednesday, saying the Pirates of the Caribbean star did not push her down the stairs when they dated in the ’90s.

The British supermodel, who shared a four-year relationship with Johnny from 1994 to 1998, appeared via a video link at the Fairfax County Courtroom in Virginia to address Amber’s claim earlier this month when she said she had feared that her ex-husband would push her sister Whitney down the airs following a violent argument.

The Aquaman star went on to tell the jury that when the alleged incident took place, she couldn’t help but think of Kate, implying that the 48-year-old had also been subject to abuse by Johnny, but when questioned if such an incident actually ever occurred, Kate denied her ex having ever put his hands on her. “No, he never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs.”

Kate was asked about a vacation she shared with Johnny out in Jamaica, where she had left their room amid a heavy rainstorm and ended up sliding down a flight of stairs, which had subsequently left her with a strained back. She screamed for help because she “didn’t know what happened to me” before Johnny rushed down to assist her.

He carried her back to her room and immediately called for medical assistance. Kate stressed she never witnessed her former flame to have been aggressive in any way, nor did he ever lay a finger on her.

During her testimony, Amber said that the staircase incident involving her sister and Johnny became the first time she “actually hit him” because she was fearful of him hurting Whitney, whose back was said to have been facing the stairs at the time of the heated quarrel. And because of how volatile their marriage had been at that point, Amber didn’t rule out the possibility that Johnny would have hurt her sibling if she hadn’t physically intervened.

“I swung at him. In all of my relationship to date with Johnny, I hadn’t landed a blow,” she told the jury as she took the stand in early May. “And I, for the first time, hit him, like actually hit him. Square in the face. He didn’t push my sister down the stairs.”
