The video captioned, “what do I be getting myself into?” While the text on the video explained the incident, saying, “when the tab comes back 2500 & people get routy because they are broke.” It’s a lot of commotion happening in the video, as people are in the background encouraging others to “calm [their] voice.” One woman says, “We have money. Why are we arguing?”
TikTok users swarmed the comment section, one user wrote, “Gratuity, tips should be the only things split. I’m not making my friends cough up more money because I wanted a steak.”
Another user commented, “Aaaand that’s when I’m pulling the server to the side, paying for my meal + heavy tip and immediately call my mama to vent.”
One person commented, “Just split it, it’s not that deep. I’d pay for my friends meal,” the woman responded, “We couldn’t just split it at a upscale restaurant.”
