Florida Mom Goes Viral After Getting  1 Year Old Son’s Entire Body Tattoed

A Florida mother is going viral, after posting images of her 6 month old son – covered in tattoos – all over Instagram.

The mother, Shamekia Morris, is a fashion designer from West Palm Beach, Florida, first started putting temporary tattoos on her son Treylin when he was just six months old.

She often covers the baby, who has become well known on social media under the username NuggerWorld561, from head to toe with tattoos – placing intricate body arts on his stomach, arms, back, and legs.

Although the tattoos aren’t real, many people online are upset with the mom-of-one for covering her toddler with the designs, with some branding her a ‘bad mom.’

Also temporary tattoo’s are not per se “safe,” especially for sensitive baby skin. Media Take Out learned that temporary tattoos often use “black henna,” which may contain a coal-tar hair dye containing p-phenylenediamine (PPD), an ingredient that can cause dangerous skin reactions in some people.

By law, PPD is not permitted in cosmetics intended to be applied to the skin, the FDA noted. The government agency has received reports of serious and long-lasting reactions in people who received temporary black henna tattoos.

The reported problems include redness, blisters, raised red weeping lesions, loss of pigmentation, increased sensitivity to sunlight and permanent scarring. The reactions can occur immediately or up to two or three weeks later.
