Singer Demi Lovato Has Updated Their Pronouns To They/Them/She/Her

Singer Demi Lovato has updated their pronouns on social media! The star recently introduced some changes to their Instagram profile to reflect their gender identity and to make it easy for fans to find their preferred pronouns.

Demi updated it to: they/them/she/her pronouns. There’s also a message in the entertainer’s bio for Demi’s fans that reads, “I love you, keep going.”

As we previously reported, back in May of last year, Demi Lovato announced, “I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary and will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.”

Earlier this year, Demi said her vibrator is better than her last relationship with Max Ehrich. Adult toy company, Bellesa Co., made a Instagram post asking their followers to, “Describe your last relationship in three words.” The singer Demi responded with three words stating, “My vibrator’s better.”

While many people were supportive of the 29-year-old, other fans were a little confused. However, Demi previously talked about their pronouns last summer and told fans on Instagram:

“If you misgender me – that’s OK. I accidentally misgender myself sometimes! It’s a huge transition to change the pronouns I’ve used for myself my entire life. And it’s difficult to remember sometimes!”

Demi Lovato added at the time, “As long as you keep trying to respect my truth,” Demi Lovato continued, “and as long as I remember my truth, that shift will come naturally. I’m just grateful for your effort in trying to remember what means so much to my healing process.”
