Tekashi 6ix9ine Says He’s Struggling To Make Ends Meet

Tekashi 6ix9ine Goes Broke, Tells Judge He Can’t Pay In Robbery Lawsuit

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been keeping it relatively lowkey lately. He was recently in court and reportedly told a judge that he’s “struggling to make ends meet” and can’t pay up in his robbery lawsuit from 2018.

If you recall, in April 2018, the Brooklyn rapper was involved in an armed robbery in Manhattan, where he stood alongside his then-associates of the Nine Trey Bloods.

The victims, publicists Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier, say they were in a studio as five armed men in an SUV pulled up and demanded they get on the ground, before snatching their possessions. The plaintiffs say they were ambushed because 6ix9ine and his crew apparently mistook them as affiliates of Houston’s Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince.

As part of a deal in his racketeering trial, 6ix9ine has already pleaded guilty to this crime, with other charges grouped in.

According to AllHipHop, his deal with TenThousand Projects was up last month. He reportedly still has a publishing deal in place, ‘but his royalty account remains unrecouped due to the enormous advances he accepted, so he is not receiving any income from the agreement.’

“Right now, I am struggling to make ends meet. I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled,” Tekashi 69 revealed.

He hasn’t dropped a single song in months since he’s been confined on house arrest. He claims all the money he has going in goes to his two children, their mom, and his own brother and mother.
