Twitter Reacts To Eminem Kneeling During Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Eminem has defied apparently NFL rules by kneeling during his Super Bowl Half Time Show performance after he and the other artists were told not to make any political statements.

After performing “Lose Yourself”, Eminem took a knee as the performance transitioned to Kendrick Lamar’s song “”M.A.A.D City

It was reported earlier that Eminem was apparently told not to kneel during his half time performance after he told officials that he wanted to pay tribute to Colin Kaepernick.

Additionally, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar were also told not to make any political statements during their performances. Dr. Dre was reportedly upset over their rules and felt he was “disgustingly censored” by officials.

However, reps for the NFL have denied that there was controversy surrounding the halftime show.

Officials were reportedly uncomfortable surrounding the lyrics of “Still Dre” and Snoop Dogg’s attire for the show. Fans also reacted to the rapper’s stance during the show.
