Kyle Rittenhouse Visited Trump After Acquittal

Kyle Rittenhouse Meets With Donald Trump After Acquittal

Donald Trump says Kyle Rittenhouse visited him after he was acquitted of shooting and killing two men and injuring another man at the Kenosha protests.

“Really a nice young man. What he went through — he should’ve, that was prosecutorial misconduct,” Trump told Sean Hannity.

“He should not have had to suffer through a trial for that. He was going to be dead,” he continued. “If he didn’t pull that trigger, that guy that put the gun to his head, in one-quarter of a second, he was going to pull the trigger… Kyle would’ve been dead.”

“Just left Mar-a-Lago a little while ago and he should never have been put through that. That was prosecutorial misconduct, and it’s happening all over the United States right now with the Democrats.”

Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges related to his conduct during a racially charged protest in Wisconsin last summer. Rittenhouse claimed the shootings were not about race.

“This case has nothing to do with race. It never had anything to do with race. It had to do with the right to self-defense,” he said.
