Drake & Chris Brown Slapped With ‘No Guidance’ Copyright Infringement Lawsuit
Drake & Chris Brown Allegedly Stole ‘No Guidance’
A singer and producer are claiming Drake and Chris Brown stole their work and used it for their hit song “No Guidance” per a new lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Brandon Cooper and Timothy Valentine whose stage names are Mr. Cooper and Drum’n Skillz are suing Chris and Drake claiming “No Guidance” ripped off their work from a song called “I Love Your Dress.”
In new legal docs Cooper and Valentine claim their song dropped 3 years before Breezy and Drake’s “No Guidance” dropped in June 2019. Cooper and Valentine claim the beat, lyrics, hook and rhythmic structure shows that “No Guidance” was copied or taken from “I Love Your Dress.”

“No Guidance” reached no. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was nominated for Best R&B Song at the 2020 Grammy Awards and amassed 693 million streams on Spotify.
