People are finessing others already on fake COVID-19 vaccine cards. At least fifteen people were charged Tuesday by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office for fake vaccine card conspiracy.

Amongst those charged is a woman @AntiVaxMomma who allegedly sold 250 fake vaccination cards on Instagram.

According to reports, 31-year-old Jasmine Clifford worked with 27-year-old Nadayza Barkley to sell fake cards over social media. Allegedly via Instagram Clifford was charging $200 per card and accepted payments through CashApp or Zelle.

For $250 she would use her friend Barkely who works at the medical clinic in Patchogue to enter peoples name into the NYSIIS database. Clifford is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Offering a False Instrument for Filing and Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree.

According ABC7, Clifford is being charged with Criminal Possession of a forged instrument, Offering a Fake Instrument For Filing plus Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree.

“We will continue to safeguard public health in New York with proactive investigations like these, but the stakes are too high to tackle fake vaccination cards with whack-a-mole prosecutions,” said District Attorney Cy Vance.

“We need companies like Facebook to take action to prevent the fraud happening on their platforms. Making, selling, and purchasing forged vaccination cards are serious crimes with serious public safety consequences.”

Vance continued, “This investigation is ongoing. If you are aware of anyone selling fake vaccination cards, please call my Office’s Financial Frauds Bureau at 212-335-8900.”
