Nicki Minaj’s Husband Wants Name Removed From Sex Offender List, Says He Never Got A Chance To Challenge It

Being registered as a sex offender has caused Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty a lot of problems in his life. According to TMZ, the bad thing is he never got a fair chance to challenge it in court.

Petty says he never received a notice of hearing back in October 2004 while he was locked up. Currently he is suing the State of New York to get his name removed from the sex offender’s registry.

Petty is claiming when the hearing was delivered it was sent to an address he no longer lived at, because he was in prison. There is a signature on the documents signed “Kenny Petty” but he states that his forgery.

Petty’s argument is that he never got his constitutional right to fight this head on. He also revealed whoever committed forgetting answered that they wont be attending the hearing.

ecause of this, Petty claims he’s suffered humiliation and financial loss — as well as being arrested last year for failing to register as a sex offender — and he now wants his name removed from NY’s sex offenders list.

Petty has been open about the trouble this has caused him and he stated he has suffered humiliation and financial loss behind this.
