Eminem’s 19-Year-Old Child Comes Out As Non-Binary

Stevie Laine, Eminem’s adopted child has come out as non-binary.

The 19-year-old shared the new life change in a TikTok video, telling everyone that they’ll use the pronouns they/she/he moving forward. Formerly known as Whitney, Stevie went on to share their journey to become “more comfortable” with their body and self as their appearance changed over the years.

The TikTok video starts off with audio of someone crying before a series of photos is shown to document Stevie’s transformation over the years: “forever growing and changing #greenscreen #genderfluid #bi #life,” they captioned the post.

As Newsweek notes, the teen was adopted by Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, when the rapper briefly reunited with their mother, Kim Scott, back in 2005. It was also mentioned by Page Six that Stevie came out as bisexual in 2017 and requested at the time to go by the pronouns she/they.

Following Stevie’s announcement, fans praised and commended the TikToker online and Stevie’s half-sister Hailie Mathers also “liked” the video.

Other stars who have come out as non-binary include singer Demi Lovato. Earlier this year, actress and TV host Busy Philipps also opened up about her 12-year-old child Birdie, sharing that they are “femme-presenting non-binary.” In January, Philipps revealed that Birdie is gay and prefers “they/them” pronouns. She made the reveal on her podcast ‘Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best.’
