Suspect Arrested After Failed Attempt To Kidnap A 5 Year Old Boy Who Was Walking With His Family

Shocking video of the moment a 5 year old boy was almost kidnapped while walking with his family in Queens has been making rounds online.

The young boy was casually walking with his mom when a man randomly jumped out of the car, grabbed the little boy, and shoved him in the back seat of the vehicle near Myrtle and Hillside avenues around 8:45 p.m., according to the footage.

Luckily, the frantic mother was able to pull her son out of an open window of the car before the vehicle sped off.

New report reaching us is that one of the creeps accused in the attempted kidnapping of the boy has been arrested. According to the New York Post, James McGonagle, 24, of Pomonok, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with attempted kidnapping.

Furthermore, he was hit with reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child in connection with the scary incident in Richmond Hill on Thursday evening.



NYPD says McGonagle’s alleged accomplice, who is the older bald man seen wearing jeans, an orange polo shirt, and sunglasses remains at large.
