Kanye West’s “DONDA” Album Will Drop Next Week – Report

Kanye West failed to drop DONDA as promised. The long awaited project was supposed to drop last week Friday (July 23), following the much talked about listening event at the ChurchLV in Las Vegas.

Justin LaBoy then gave an update about West and the album’s release, initially saying that Ye is in the studio making last-minute magic and  DONDA may arrive anytime.

“KANYE WEST WILL MOVE THE RELEASE DATE OF DONDA TO AUGUST 6TH,” tweeted Laboy. “THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE Red heart HE WANTS TO GIVE HIS FANS THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITHOUT RUSHING ANYTHING. HE LOVES YALL WITH ALL OF HIS HEART. GOD BLESS [praying hands emoji] #DONDA #RESPECTFULLY.”

Well, it appears LaBoy is right with the update. Although the new release date was not confirmed by Kanye himself, an official representative is confirming the new date.

In a new report from Pitchfork, it was revealed that August 6th is, indeed, the new release date and that fans can expect to hear the album that night.

As we all know, Kanye can change his mind at any time, so don’t be surprised if something happens between now and then. In the meantime.
