Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Confirms He Won’t Be Returning To The ‘Fast & Furious’ Films

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has confirmed he won’t be returning to the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise following his feud with co-star Vin Diesel.

Diesel spoke about their differences in an interview with Men’s Health.

The actor and producer reflected on the “tough love” he gave Johnson in order to get the best performance out of him as Hobbs in the films.

“We had to get there and sometimes, at that time, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Felliniesque, but I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing,” Vin explained.

Well, The Rock responded to the comments in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I laughed and I laughed hard,” Johnson said. “I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that.”

He continued, “I wish them well on Fast 9. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me.”

Hopefully, they’ll settle their differences in the future.
