Cassidy Accuses Tory Lanez Of Stealing His Bars

Tory Lanez was recently on Hot97 with Funk Flex where he delivered a fire freestyle. In the freestyle, the Canadian rapper shouted out DaBaby, Lil Baby and Roddy Ricch, throwing shots at Megan Thee Stallion for allegedly framing him.

While the rapper’s fans were praising his bars, Cassidy was analyzing them because he believed they sounded a tad familiar.

According to Cassidy, Tory Lanez has been stealing his bars for years. Cassidy took to Instagram to provide receipts to back up his claims. He shared a video where he compared Tory Lanez’s lyrics, flow, and delivery, and obviously there are more similarities than one thinks.

The video kick off with freestyles dating back to 2017. “I’m @torylanez favorite rapper #RNS Ain’t no denying that [eyeball #GoatGang [goat emoji] Show me the respect I deserve &#LetsGetToThisChicken [money emoji] #BARSisBack #DaEnergy [lightning emoji].”

The similar lyrics has caused several rappers to jump in Cassidy’s comment section, calling out Lanez without hesitation.

Folks on Twitter have also jumped on the news, joking and sharing memes about Tory stealing Cassidy’s bars.

“That nigga Tory copy and pasted them Cassidy bars like they not visible to everybody,” someone tweeted. “Not y’all letting Tory Lanez freestyle gaslight y’all again , and finding out he basically stole the freestyle from Cassidy,” another user wrote.
