Cardi B & Normani Seemingly Beefing After Critics Said ‘Wild Side’ Should’ve Been A Solo Song

Cardi B and R&B singer Normani released their new song “Wild Side” two weeks ago. And while it initially got a lot of buzz, the buzz quickly died down and the song is starting to look like flop.

Cardi has now taken to social media to weigh in on the argument that the song should’ve been a solo song instead of a collab between them.

Some fans believe that Cardi could have been brought on in a remix edition of the popular song, as Normani could’ve held it on her own. “This might be a hot take but honestlyyyy cardi should have been the remix,” a fan pointed out.

if cardi was on the remix, the song would have soared on the charts after its initial debut. the video is part of why the song is so successful and the dance challenge as well. so if the song dies down, cardi’s remix feature would bring it back up. YALL UNDERSTAND NOW??? DANG

“idk why y’all didn’t release this song as your solo single. i get why she’s on it but shoulda been the remix in my humble opinion.”

Cardi then responded saying: “Same people that says this shit is the same people that didn’t buy shit ,don’t request on radio, not streaming not adding no value or numbers to the song but opinions on twitter for a hit tweet cause hating but keeping up with cardi it’s what in.”

Normani then chimed in that she can’t  imagine the record without Cardi. “I don’t think you guys understand how harddddd this woman has gone for me. you have been a champion for me throughout this whole process even when I was freaking out the night before releasing.”

She added, “God don’t play when it comes to His. we good sis.”

Normani was forced to delete her Tweets after Cardi threw her under the bus by saying she will no longer promote or talk about the song and that she will call up and force Normani to release a new version of the song – without her vocals.
