Lil Kim Says She’ll Do A Verzuz With Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim have been at loggerheads for at least a decade over supremacy. Their beef dates back to 2008 when people claimed Nicki copied Kim on the Young Money Entertainment artist’s 2008 mixtape, Sucka Free.

While the two haven’t publicly settled their differences, it appears Kim is ready to put it all behind her.

While on the red carpet prior to the live airing of the 2021 BET Awards on Sunday (June 27), the veteran rapper shared that she’d like to do a Verzuz against Nicki.

When DJ Envy, of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning radio show, asked who Kim would like to do a hit-for-hit battle against, she named the Queen rapper without wasting time.

Now, I have to ask,” Envy says. “Not gonna say who again, but would you do a Verzuz?”

The Brooklyn raised rapper replies, “Yes.” DJ Envy continues, “Is there anybody that you would do it against or you’re just ready for anybody?”

Lil Kim matter-of-factly states, “Nicki.” Envy, visibly surprised by Lil Kim’s answer, responds, “Nicki? Really? I would love to see that.”
