Jack Harlow Says He Wasn’t Shooting His Shot At Saweetie

Jack Harlow and Saweetie have been trending online after photographer Johnny Nunez, managed to capture a tension-filled moment between the two rappers at the just concluded BET Awards.

Jack Harlow has however denied that he tried to shoot his shot with Saweetie on the BET Awards red carpet.

A clip of him introducing himself to the rapper went viral, but Jack says he was not hitting on her. “You can’t say hello these days, I guess,” Jack told TSR, adding that he’s a “nice person.” He continued, “That’s a friend… That’s a friend vibe.”

In the video, the ‘What’s Popping’ crooner interrupted Saweetie’s interview with The Shade Room and introduces himself before shaking her hand.

“Hi, Saweetie,” he said, catching the rapper off-guard. She responded hesitantly before he introduced himself. “I know [who you are],” she said. Then, a part of their conversation wasn’t picked up by the microphones, but Jack appears to apologize for interrupting the interview before giving her a compliment.

“You don’t like getting caught off guard?” asked Jack as he flirtatiously held Saweetie’s hand. “Why you shaking?” she asked him before warning the reporter not to run a narrative on it.
