Billie Eilish’s Boyfriend Apologizes After Racist, Homophobic Social Media Posts Resurface

Billie Eilish recently revealed that she’s in a relationship with 29-year-old Matthew Tyler Vorce. In the past weeks, the Grammy award winning singer has been making news for controversial reasons.

Earlier this week, Vorce heavily dragged after his old posts using homophobic and racist words, including the n-word and f-word resurfaced.

Billie Eilish’s new bae also said girls who say they’re free-spirited are “sluts” and seemingly vocalized his support for Donald Trump. At the time, fans threw away her merch collections as they’re angry over her boyfriend’s old posts.

Well, he’s now apologized for his words. “I want to apologize for the things that I wrote on social media in the past. The language I used was hurtful and irresponsible and I understand how offensive those words are,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

“Whether it was a lyric, a quote or just me being dumb, it does not matter. I am ashamed and deeply sorry that I used them in any context. It is not how I was raised and it is not what I stand for.”

“I shouldn’t have used this language in the first place and I won’t use it again. I am so sorry for the hurt I have caused. I take full responsibility and continue to hold myself accountable for my actions.”

Similarly, Billie Eilish was dragged over an old video that allegedly shows her saying the Asian slur “ch**k” and putting on a “blaccent”. She’s yet to respond to the backlash.
