Justin Wright Charged With First Degree Murder For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend

Multi-platinum songwriter J. Wright, has been arrested on murder charges after he allegedly killed his girlfriend on Mother’s Day. Wright has penned hit for Timbaland, Future, 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Omarion, DJ Khaled and Bow Wow.

On Sunday, cops responded to a call about a disturbance in a home. When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Wilanna Bibbs with a gunshot wound. Paramedics were called, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wright and Bibb were dating. A relative of Bibb’s talked to The Neighborhood Talk and said she had wanted to leave him. “They were dating and Justin manipulated & controlled her, she was trying to leave,” the family member said.

“You took her to Iowa and killed her on Mother’s Day, you threatened to kill my daughter also a few ago in ATL. You brainwashed & manipulated my cousin and tried to turn her against us. I hate she loved you, I hate she ever met you.”

Wright is charged with first-degree murder and is being held on $500,000 cash bond. He has not yet entered a plea. It is unlikely that he will be able to post bond as he reportedly told the judge, “I’m not making anything right now,” he said per OurQuadCities.com.

“All my belongings were stolen in November.”
