Charlamagne Tha God Says Drake Cheated To Debut 3 Songs In Top 3 Billboard Hot 100

Charlamagne Tha God Says Drake Cheated To Debut 3 Songs In Top 3 Billboard Hot 100

Charlamagne Tha God has been critical of Drake in recent times. The Breakfast Club host went as far as questioning if we are still in Drake’s era.

Earlier this year, Charla argued on The Breakfast Club that Drake needs a Lil Baby collaboration more than Baby needs his.

“I think, right now, Drake might need that Lil Baby feature.” Angela Yee and DJ Envy were quick to disagree, arguing that Drake doesn’t need anyone. “Drake is still Drake, but let’s be clear, a lot of the Drake records, at least as of late, haven’t really taken off at radio,” Charlamagne added.

Well, Drake proves nay sayers wrong for a living and he did the same with his new EP ‘Scary Hours 2’. The Toronto superstar even set new record, becoming the first artist to debut 3 songs in Top 3 Billboard Hot 100.

However, when Charlamagne was asked about his thoughts on Drake’s new feat, he claimed Drizzy manipulated his way to the top of the chart. “I have three thoughts. First off, congrats to Drake. That is an incredible feat,” said the radio host.

“I asked a question a few months ago and the question was simply, ‘are we still in a Drake era?’ When you’re #1, #2, and #3 on the charts, I think that answers your question. When it comes to streaming and radio, he’s still the guy.”

He continued, “That top 3 might not reflect what’s happening in the clubs or with a slightly younger demo but he’s still the guy with regards to radio and streaming.”

“He cheated,” CTG added.
