Cardi B is distancing herself from rapper Lil Nas X, after he came out as a Satanist in his new song Montero. Cardi took to Twitter yesterday to tell her fans that she’s not a satanist like Lil Nas X.

Cardi explained that her “sexual confidence” that she exudes in her music videos should not be confused with any form of Satanist or anti-Christian ideology.

“Ya keep putting me in these tweets and I don’t play that shit.” The ‘Wap’ rapper added that she “Has a very strong faith in God and [she] don’t play with him.”

Lil Nas X has been making headlines after dropping a controversial music video for ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’, which shows him giving the devil a lap dance.

Nike has also denied any involvement in Lil Nas X’s collab with MSCHF for a new Air Max ’97 that is being referred to as “Satan’s Shoes” and reportedly contains a drop of blood in the midsole.

“We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF,” Nike said in a statement. “Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them.”
