Morgan Freeman Explains Difference Between Snitches & Rats On 21 Savage & Metro Boomin ‘Savage Mode 2’

The wait is over, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin have finally dropped their long awaited project ‘Savage Mode 2’ after it was delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The trailer dropped couple of days ago and it threw fans into frenzy with the epic announcement made by veteran actor Morgan Freeman.

And again, now that the album has arrived, fans are pointing out at another intro made by Morgan Freeman on the 8th track, titled ‘Snitches & Rats (Interlude)’ an intro to the main track ‘Snitches & Rats’ featuring Young Nudy’.

On the interlude, Morgan Freeman explains the difference between snitches and rats. And it seems like a shade to the glorified snitch, Tekashi 6ix9ine, who was recently hospitalized after being overdosed on weight loss pills.

“A regular citizen who reports seeing a crime isn’t a “snitch” or a “rat,” the criminals were just sloppy,” Morgan Freeman began on the Interlude.

“Snitches and rats are not the same thing, let me break it down to make sure y’all see what I mean
A “snitch” is someone minding other folks’ business
To find information they can sell for a price or trade for some other form of compensation
A “rat” is a traitor, a conceiver, planner or physical participator
He doesn’t sell secrets for power or cash, he betrays the trust of his team or his family hoping to save his own cowardly ass
The difference is, at least a snitch is human, but a rat is a fuckin’ rat, period.”

Folks on Twitter have been reacting to the interlude, singing praises of Freeman for shedding light on the snitches and rats controversy.
