Lakeith Stanfield Reveals He Lost About 5K Followers After Kamala Harris Hair Comments

Lakeith Stanfield was met with heavy criticism after he shared an awkward take on the Vice Presidential debate couple of weeks back. The actor was dragged over his contentious remark about Kamala Harris.

Stanfield aired his thoughts over on his Instagram page and one post included a split-screen photo of Kamala Harris and Vice President Mike Pence.

“I don’t like her hair, but other than that this is better than the last one but still sad,” he captioned the image. The actor was slammed and accused of his Black women.

“I say what i want on my page,” Lakeith wrote. “Where are all you warriors of power when i post about the things that i believe in and support? You won’t pressure me into speaking how YOU think i should speak.”

He’s since deleted the posts. Taking back to Instagram today, he wrote: “I lost about 5 thousand followers because i critiqued a politicians hairstyle,” Stanfield wrote in a text image post to Instagram.

“I think that’s a record for me. Let’s see how many more i can loose f*ck it.” He’s once again deleted the post. Are people doing too much or he got what he deserves?
