Rihanna Opens Up About still Loving Chris Brown In Old Interview With Oprah After Brutal Assault

A resurfaced interview of Rihanna admitting that she’s still in love with Chris Brown after he infamously assaulted her, is currently making rounds on social media

Riri made the shocking confession to Oprah on her ‘Supersoul Conversations’ podcasts which has now find its way on the internet 12 years since Chris put his hands on Rihanna.

The R&B star told Oprah that she and Chris are working on their friendship. “We’ve built up a trust again, and that’s … we love each other and we probably always will.” Rihanna said as reported by TMZ.

“That’s not something we’re ever going to change. That’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love.” Riri added that her stomach turns when she sees him because, again, she still loves him.

“I truly love him. So, the main thing for me is that he’s at peace. I’m not at peace if he’s a little unhappy or he’s still lonely.”

Oprah asked Rihanna if she and Chris might give it another shot and she responded saying: “He’s in a relationship of his own. I’m single but we have maintained a very close friendship ever since the restraining order has been dropped.”

Riri continued, “We’ve just worked on it, little by little, and it has not been easy. It’s not easy.”
