Big Sean Names His Top 5 Favorite Rappers

Big Sean recently dropped his new album Detroit 2, which debuted at the top spot of the Billboard 200, and he’s been doing a virtual press run to speak about the journey that led him to this point.

Earlier this week, Sean took to Reddit for an extensive AMA session. The rapper answered a wide range of questions about his latest effort as well as another release he’s been teasing for years.

Big Sean revealed during the question and answer that he and Jhene Aiko are working on the sequel of their joint album. The couple known as Twenty88, shared their self-titled debut album back in 2016.

Well, during a recent virtual interview with Fat Joe, Sean was asked to list his top five favorite rappers and he named The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z as his definitive Top 5 list.

“I could go Rakim, I could go Nas, I could go Pac, I could go Snoop. I mean, so many bro,” said Sean, completing a Top 10.

“I gotta put Outkast as one. There’s so many ways to go. The reason I call myself Big is because of Big Pun, Biggie Smalls, Big L, you know what I mean?”
