Authorities Say The Five People Arrested In Pop Smoke’s Murder Case Found His Location On Social Media

Fast rising Brooklyn Rapper Pop Smoke was tragically shot and killed after a home invasion robbery. The 20 year old was murdered in his rented house in the upscale Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.

It was reported back in February that his death could have been a random one as the rapper accidentally revealed his own address to the world in a video posted hours before his murder.

Pop Smoke unintentionally shared his home address in a post on his facebook story which resulted to a foursome of masked robbers breaking into his home before robbing and fatally shooting him. He’d earlier flaunted a few bags that were gifted to him by Mike Amiri on facebook.

One of the bags contained the artist’s address and personal information, which he completely forgot to blur out or remove from the package. However, TMZ shared yesterday that five people have now been arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime.

The media outlet revealed that there were three adults and two underage people arrested. These men had warrants out for their arrest and on Thursday morning, the LAPD was able to track each person down and take them into custody.

Today, LAPD Captain Jon Tippet spoke to the press about these arrests and he appears to be confident in the fact that they have arrested the right people. As he explained in the press conference, the five people in question didn’t know Pop Smoke personally.

Authorities believe they found his address through an accidental post on the rapper’s Facebook story, which revealed the address.
