J. Cole's "Lion King On Ice" May Have Been For Lil Pump

J Cole’s “Lion King On Ice” Has Bars For Lil Pump

J Cole and Lil Pump once had some sort of beef years ago. The Dreamville honcho had earlier addressed it on his song “1985” but it appears he’s reflecting on the youngin’s career years later, on his new track “Lion King On Ice.”

Jermaine once had a conversation with Lil Pump in a viral clip that shows him trying to warn him about the path he’s treading and what he should do to keep the stacks coming in.

Fast forward to the present, Cole released a two new songs last night fueling the anticipation of his upcoming album “The Fall Off”. However, when fans analyzed the lyrics in one of the tracks, “Lion King On Ice,” they are convinced he’s talking about Lil Pump.

“N***a dissed me/It was nonsense/I sat ’em down like his father/My n***a asked, ‘Why you bother?’/We shoulda caught him and mobbed him/I said, ‘We gotta move smarter,'” Cole raps.

“Don’t want be the reason for one more sad song/I tried to warn n***as they wouldn’t last long/I hope that you see how they came and they went/They shots never hit but they made their attempts/May have a good year like their name on a blimp/But you know what it take to be poppin’ this long,” he continues.
