Tokyo Jetz Shares With Fans That She Tested Positive For COVID-19

Last month, Tokyo Jetz faced heavy criticism after she made insensitive comments on her social media channel, broadcasting her day on Instagram Live and playing around with her hairstylist.

During the Live, Tokyo Jetz put her hairdresser in a headlock and made the following joke: “I’ma George Floyd your muthafuckin’ ass.”

Following the backlash, she issued a public apology, deleting all of the content on her Instagram page and replaced it with a single apology, addressing her fans and anybody that was offended by her tasteless joke.

However, Yesterday, Tokyo revealed she has been feeling the symptoms of Coronavirus. “All day I been like “y’all don’t smell that bleach”…. when in reality no one does and I can’t smell anything,” she wrote alongside a video of her being tested for COVID-19.

“I can taste stuff at the back of my throat but not on my tongue. So I cooked crabs yesterday and all morning I was like “they been sitting they finna be so good” …got home and can’t even taste shit” she wrote in another tweet.

When a fan tweeted that people are happy she tested positive for COVID-19, “Good thing idgaf.. they better pray they can recover as fast as me & don’t have underlying health issues,” she responded.
