Social media sensation Queen Naija got married to her high school lover Chris Sails in 2014, at the age of 19 and the pair started their YouTube channel named ‘Chris and Queen’ in 2016.

The couple had a son, named Christopher Jeremiah ‘CJ’ Sails. Their followers skyrocketed to more than 2.3 million subscribers in a year at the time.

Their relationship soon hit the rough edges in November 2017 after Chris cheated on her with another woman which made Queen Naija filed for divorce and also gave up their YouTube channel to Sails, which was renamed Chris Sails.

She then kicked off a solo movement, creating her own YouTube channel, named “Queen Naija”, which has more than 4.51 million subscribers. Sails on the other hand was arrested in 2018 for assaulting his then-girlfriend Parker McKenna.

Sails reportedly “got pissed after he saw a DM from another man on her phone, and started beating her so badly, she thought she was going to die.” Another Sails girlfriend Savay, posted bruises on her arms from his alleged abuse.

Couple of months back, he was arrested again on aggravated assault charges. While details of his recent arrest haven’t been disclosed yet, a mugshot of the 24-year-old was made public which discloses he is being held on a $15K bond in a Texas jail.

Earlier this week, Queen Naija and Sails dragged each other across social media after getting into a spat over visitation. The beef started after Chis posted a video titled “Queen Not Letting Me See My Son” which she’s since responded to, and also got support from her fans.

However, she took back to twitter to speak out on domestic violence, although she didn’t mention Chris in her tweets, it’s quite clear who she’s talking about. “Any man that hits a woman is a punk,” she wrote.

In a follow up tweet, Naija insinuated that she was a victim of domestic abuse too. “You don’t realize how something affected you until you talk about it.”
