Justin Bieber Shows Support For Black Community, Credits Black Culture

Justin Bieber has been using his Instagram page to raise awareness on Police brutality and social injustice following recent deaths of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

The famous Pop singer has been calling for the arrest of the officers involved in Floyd’s death, seeking ultimate justice for him alongside Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

Recently Bieber took to his page to show more support for the black community. The singer says he is both “inspired and influenced by black culture,” and has “benefitted off of black culture” in an Instagram post.

“I am inspired by black culture. I have benefited off of black culture. my style, how I sing, dance, perform, and my fashion have all been influenced and inspired by black culture,” Bieber wrote in the post.

“I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression, and to identify ways to be a part of much needed change,” he  added.
