Lana Del Rey Under Fire For Shading Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki, Cardi & More
Lana Del Rey is currently trending on social media after she sent a shady message on instagram. She announced her new album that is scheduled to drop on the 5th of September and, in doing so, she dragged a whole lot of other female stars.
Lana Del Rey is under heavy criticism and being pressured to delete her latest message, which has been deemed unnecessarily shady.
The message she’s trying to pass on the post is about her own music and how she has been criticized for her lyrical content for years. Fans have shaded Lana for “glamorizing abuse” and she doesn’t think that the industry has been fair to her.

“Question for the culture: Now that Doja Cat, Ariana, Camila, Cardi B, Kehlani and Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé have had number ones with songs about being sexy, wearing no clothes, fucking, cheating etc,” she wrote.
“Can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfec or dancing for money – or whatever I want – without being crucified or saying that I’m glamorizing abuse?”
Fans are dragging her for putting down other women in a bid to get her point across and, all day, she has been trending on Twitter as people share their opinions.
