Drake made controversial headlines following his Instagram live session with OVO Mark where he played some of his already-released songs, shouted out some of his favorites from Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, and others.

Before playing an often-teased track with Future where he references his supermodel dramas and Kylie Jenner was also name dropped by Drake.

“Yeah, I’m a hater to society.. Real shit, Kylie Jenner that’s a side piece.. Yeah, I got 20 motherfuckin’ Kylies,” raps Drake on the song before Future comes in and says he’s also got a bunch of KJ’s sitting in the cut.

Considering that Drake is close friends with Kylie Jenner and he has collaborated in the past with Travis Scott. Drizzy has now issued a response to the viral lyrics, apologizing and claiming that the track never should have been played.

“A song that mark ran last night on night owl sound live set shouldn’t have been played,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “It’s a song that leaked 3 years ago and got scrapped shortly after. He was just going too deep in the drake/future catalogue.”

He continued, “Last thing I’d want to do is wake up and have any friends of mine feeling disrespected so I just had to say that to start off the day.”
