Rihanna Calls George Floyd’s Killer Derek Chauvin A “Thug, Pig, Bum”

There have been riots and protests, across the country following the murder of African American man George Floyd by a White cop. People have come out in masses to march against racism in the United States.

Meek Mill, Ice Cube and more celebrities have reacted to the killing of Floyd earlier this week and yesterday Lil Wayne aired his opinion on the issue.

According to the veteran rapper, if we want to place blame on anybody for what happened, it should be on ourselves. Rihanna has also revealed that she didn’t immediately come forward with her thoughts because her heart was just too heavy to make a statement.

“For the last few days, the magnitude of devastation, anger, sadness I’ve felt has been overwhelming to say the least! Watching my people get murdered and lynched day after day pushed me to a heavy place in my heart!” Rihanna wrote in a caption of George Floyd’s photo.

“To the point of staying away from socials, just to avoid hearing the blood curdling agony in George Floyd’s voice again, begging over and over for his life!!! The look of enticement, the pure joy and climax on the face of this bigot, murderer, thug, pig, bum, Derek Chauvin, haunts me!! I can’t shake this!” See her full post below :

I can’t get over an ambulance pulling up to an arrest, a paramedic checking a pulse without removing the very thing that’s hindering it! Is this that fucking normal??? If intentional MURDER is the fit consequence for “drugs” or “resisting arrest”….then what’s the fit consequence for MURDER???! #GeorgeFloyd #AhmaudArbery #BreonnaTaylor

Beyonce has also released a PSA where she pleads with the public to show their support by signing one of four petitions. “We need justice for George Floyd. We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I’m not only speaking to people of color,” Bey said in the video.

“If you’re white, black, brown, or anything in between, I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of color as less than human,” she continued.

“We can no longer look away. George is all of our family in humanity. He’s our family because he’s a fellow American. There have been too many times that we’ve seen these violent killings with no consequences. Yes, someone’s been charged, but justice is far from being achieved.”

She added, “Please sign the petition. Continue to pray for peace, compassion, and healing for our country.” viewers to click the link in her bio that takes them to her website where they can support the #WeCantBreathe movement by signing the petitions of Color of Change, Change.org, We Can’t Breath National, or the NAACP.
