Maybach Music rapper Wale, dropped his debut album ‘Attention Deficit’ in 2009 along with his lead single, “Chillin,” featuring pop superstar Lady Gaga.

It was confirmed at the time that the track came about because the two artists were introduced to one another by Mark Ronson, Wale’s friend and mentor.

Fans love when artists from different genres collaborate on a song as it gives a mixture of rhythm. Hip Hop fans often love to see a pop star take the hook in a rap song to spice up the melody and that’s what made a fan asked Wale to come about.

The took to Twitter with a quick message to Wale: “work with @ladygaga again.” Others liked and agreed, but the rapper said that there are more to making collaborations happen.

“Y’all got to understand these fantasy features work two ways,” Wale replied. “Pop people don’t wanna work wit us unless we sittin in that top 40 or unless it’s a white rapper .. prove me wrong.”
