Tory Lanez isn’t just a great singer, the talented Toronto star is undeniably one of best rappers out there. His vocals on songs is a top notch as well as his bars on a track cannot be undermined.

But Tory Lanez went ahead of his shadow a year ago, when he tweeted, claiming to be the best rapper alive.

“IM THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE RIGHT NOW …… I WILL BODY ANY OF YALL NIGGAS OUT ! PERIOD,” he tweeted on the 24th of January, 2019. The post quickly went viral and he was heavily dragged for it.

Today, Tory retracted his words in a post-and-delete fashion, he apologized for previously calling himself the greatest rapper alive.

“Lol yo I’m sorry for the time I said ‘Im the best rapper alive’ .. even if I feel that way about myself. It’s a dumbass statement,” said Tory on Twitter. And even though I’m always ready to stand behind my talent, it made me look like a dick head. And I’m truly not that. So yeah. My bad lmao.”

But we managed to get a screenshot of the deleted tweet.
