Nicki Minaj & Kenneth Petty Break Up Rumor Debunked

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty was arrested about a month ago, for failing to register as a sex offender in California although he was already registered in New York but was required to register in California after the couple moved to Los Angeles last year.

Kenneth Petty was arrested by the Los Angeles District Attorney and ultimately released on a $20,000 bond. He was forced to hand over his passport and will be required to wear an ankle monitor upon his release.

Kenneth Petty asked the judge for some leniency, so that he would be allowed to use the internet, and lucky for him, he was granted permission to peruse the internet.

Although we haven’t seen him share anything on his social media accounts, the couple are currently trending over a false narrative that they have broken up. It all started with a tweet claiming that Kenneth Petty’s friend confirmed said news on IG Live, and quickly spread across online.

The account that shared the false story appears to be a fan account for Nicki Minaj, but it’s equally claiming to be a “troll account” and after several gossip outlets wrote articles on the story, the same account doubled back to say he had made up this claim because he was bored, thus starting the rumor in the first place.
