DaBaby’s “Blame It On Baby” Album Tops Billboard 200
DaBaby released his new album “Blame It On Baby” last week and it quickly became a trending topic on social media for both positive and negative reviews.
The project features a list of big stars, ranging from Roddy Ricch, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Ashanti, Megan Thee Stallion, Future, and more.
Fans were jamming the new album, but it appears their expectations was too high and it wasn’t met so they took to social media to vent their disappointments. Or basically, those are just trolls hating on DaBaby.
Well, Billboard shared that DaBaby has earned his second number one album on the Billboard 200 with ‘Blame It On Baby’. Regardless that he gave fans a short notice before its release, the album sold 124K equivalent album units. 110K of those sales come from the 158.84M on-demand streams following the album’s release while 12K comes from pure sales.
DaBaby also used the opportunity to slam critics of his album by sharing a video which shows him slamming a garbage can and spitting on it.
“This what my trolls do to my music when they put in hard work doin all that hatin and my shit STILL top the charts,” he wrote in the caption. “Relax bro, I love y’all too…. no cap.”
Hopefully, He has proved naysayers wrong!
