Solange Knowles Is Not Dating Rapper Common – Reps

Earlier this week, there were reports that Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles is now dating rapper and actor, Common. Well,  Solange’s team has reached out to us to deny the claims.

Common attended the Lena Horne Prize for Artists Creating Social Impact Inaugural Celebration at The Town Hall Theater and Solange Knowles was being honored at the event too.

Rumors started swirling around that Common was there “with” Solange as his date and what fueled the speculations was that both Common and Solange are currently single.

Representatives of Solange Knowles reached out to us and denied the allegations, claiming that photo of them on the red carpet together at the Lena Horne Prize event was photoshopped.

“The post is not factual. Solange and Common are not dating and that photo of them on the red carpet together at the Lena Horne Prize event was photoshopped to appear as though the artists attended together,” they stated.

“In fact, Solange was being honored at the event; Common attended to present the opening remarks and pay homage to the great legacy of Lena Horne,” Solange’s team added.
