Oprah Tearfully Revealed That Gayle King Is Not Doing Well

Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King were heavily criticized after Gayle King’s interview with Lisa Leslie went viral for all the wrong reasons this week.

With a clip where King asked the basketball star if Kobe Bryant’s 2003 rape trial taints his legacy.

It didn’t take long before she started receiving heavy backlash over her statements and people were quick to point out that they’re only targeting successful Black men to paint them bad.

50 Cent and Snoop Dogg have both called out the two talk show hosts over there alleged act of targeting successful Black men. But it appears the criticisms were too much for Gayle as she also received death threats.

Oprah Winfrey addressed the situation during a recent interview on ‘Today’, opening up that the death threats have put Gayle in a bad place. “She is not doing well,” Winfrey said tearfully.

“She is not doing well because she now has death threats and has to now travel with security. She is feeling very much attacked.”

Gayle King had also expressed her displeasure for the interview, calling out CBS for baiting the situation with the promo clip when, in fact, they did a wide-ranging interview covering a variety of topics.

She added that the clip, in particular, was taken out of context.
