Kehlani Announces Split From YG, Drops Breakup Song “Valentine’s Day”

Kehlani Officially Breakup With Rapper YG

Rapper YG and Kehlani released a joint single together on Valentine’s Day, proudly showering love and affection for themselves online. But it appears they’ve called it quit.

The pair had been together for months, serving as one of the cutest hip-hop power couples around as well as ‘couple goals.’

YG had earlier cheated on her after he was caught kissing a mystery woman outside night club last year. Kehlani seemingly forgave him and they went back to normal. Just couple of weeks ago, Meek Mill caught the couple making out at his Grammys after party.

Unfortunately, this morning she dished out a new song called “Valentine’s Day (Shameful)”where she seemingly addresses all that went wrong in their relationship. Kehlani woke up in the middle of the night, and went to read some of YG’s text messages.

It was then she realized that, much like a few weeks ago, he had been cheating on her with another woman. In the newly released song, Kehlani says that she hopes her ex-lover finally gets that Paris honeymoon he’s been wanting, as well as the son he’s been craving, and more.

“I helped you fight your addiction and change your whole life just to find myself played in the end,” she says in a verse.

She later took to twitter where she told fans that she is currently single, which would appear to confirm that the track is about YG.
