Willie D Questions Why Kobe Bryant Died Instead Of Charles Barkley
There have been mixed reactions to the death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant beyond the basketball community. The world has been reacting to the death of the iconic baller.
Many are in pains and finding it hard to process the loss of Kobe, his 13 year old daughter Gianna and others on board during the helicopter crash.
Same way some critics and anti black people are celebrating his death. Comedian Ari Shaffir has earlier acknowledged Kobe’s death in a disrespectful tweet, insinuating that he should have been dead 23 years ago.
Rapper Willie D from the Geto Boys has also expressed his feelings following the death of Kobe. And the rapper is questioning God on why basketball analyst Charles Barkley didn’t die instead.
Willie has earlier dissed Charles on a song titled “C**n” where he accused the man of speaking down on his race. And now he wishes Barkley was dead instead of Kobe. “It’s okay to question God,” wrote the rapper on instagram, in a video where he expresses his shock at the passing of Kobe Bryant.
“In the wake of the late, great Kobe Bryant dying tragically, suddenly, young, a lot of people are in pain all over the world. Some people are saying it feels like the loss of a family member. I agree. Kobe was a good dude.”
“So much so that some people are questioning God. I got a question for God too. Why Kobe? How come you didn’t take Charles Barkley? No more talk.”
I hope Willie knows Charles has a family too and how about neither of them dead.. Watch the video :
