The Game Calls Out LAPD Following YG's Arrest

The Game Calls Out LAPD Following YG’s Arrest

Rapper YG was arrested earlier after police raided his apartment. TMZ broke the news, sharing that he was booked for robbery after the Los Angeles Sheriff’s County conducted a raid on his San Fernando home.

The Los Angeles police department reportedly arrived at his home at roughly 4 a.m. with a search warrant as well as an arrest warrant related to a robbery case.

Rapper YG’s SUV is connected to a murder case after it was used in a shooting in July. But it’s unclear if the robbery arrest had anything to do with that case.

TMZ gave an update that the rapper’s bail has been set at $250K. His lawyer Tacopina, believes the entire arrest is suspicious, at least based on the time of it. “This arrest is one that caught YG completely off guard because there is no truth to them,” he said.

“YG has no idea what investigators are talking about and we have not been provided with any details, we are learning about this case through the media,” Tacopina said. “Rest assured, my client will be cleared of all charges, if they even survive past the arraignment.”

“YG has a performance scheduled at The Grammy’s Sunday where he will honor Nipsey Hussle, so the timing is suspect, to put it mildly,” he added.

The Game who has been all about the late Nipsey Hussle’s legacies is very much convinced there is a conspiracy behind the arrest and according to him, LAPD is the biggest gang in Los Angeles.

“Funny how YG gets arrested the weekend of the Grammy’s when he’s supposed to hit the stage in Nip’s honor. #LAPDTheBiggestGangHere,” The Game tweeted.
