Trippie Redd Vows To Stop Taking Drugs Following Juice WRLD's Death

Trippie Redd : “If It Ain’t Weed, We Ain’t Doin’ It No More.”

There are still lots of reactions following rapper Juice WRLD’s death earlier on Sunday morning after suffering seizure at Chicago’s midway airport.

The rapper reportedly had a seizure and started bleeding from the mouth. He was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he lost consciousness and died shortly after arriving for treatment.

It was later reported that Juice WRLD swallowed several pills to avoid being arrested by officials at the airport. Rapper Joyner Lucas has earlier expressed his thoughts concerning the rapper’s death.

Lucas blames rappers who glorified drugs for causing WRLD ‘s death. “Juice Wrld was 21. He was a product of our generation of rappers who glorified drugs and made it cool,” Joyner wrote.

Im blaming Yal niggaz for this sh*t. [All] that lean and pills niggaz glorify and talk about. You teaching the kids to do it. Smh you happy now?Rip @JuiceWorlddd. Gone too soon.”

Well, Trippie Redd has also reacted to his friend’s death and seemingly faults older rappers who glorified drugs for influencing the youngsters into drug abuse.

Trippie Redd went on instagram live to announce that he’s quitting drugs for good and not just him but everyone in his team. “We ain’t doin’ it no more,” he said on his Instagram Live. “Period. If it ain’t weed, we ain’t doin’ it no more.”

After a short break, he clarifies his declaration. “And when I say ‘we,’ I mean us as a group. Us as a whole, the whole emo music artists. No drugs.”

“It’s not cool,” he said elsewhere in his video. “We look up to all these bigger artists, all these grown-ass men and all they do is talk about poppin’ pills and sippin’ codeine and all that sh*t… It’s music. N*ggas know what they get theyself into but at the same time, it’s like, we gotta be the strongest people to be like, ‘Okay, n*ggas is just using this for rhymes at this point.”

Let it just be that, you feel me? I’ll be the first to say: I ain’t sippin’ no lean, I ain’t poppin’ no pills but Imma still talk about it in music. Maybe.”
