Lil Wayne Sets To Drop ‘Funeral’ Album In February

Rapper Lil Wayne has been gearing up for the release of his long awaited album ‘Funeral‘, although it’s been ready since August of this year, it appears fans will have to take a chill pill till next year.

Lil Wayne who is also considered as the greatest of all time has revealed the release month of his project.




Wayne has earlier leaked a feature on the album, revealing that he’s recruited Lil Baby for a joint off the album during an interview with XXL. I’ve worked with a bunch of artists already,” he told the publication. “I don’t want to give up the goods on too many.

“Lil Baby. I’m a big Lil Baby fan. So it was a swap type of thing. You send me a song, I send… that type of thing. But actually he demanded that he work with me.”

And just about a week ago, Tunechi was spotted shooting a music video with Lil Baby for their upcoming collab “I Do It,” which is speculated to be off his ‘Funeral’ album.

A fan then decided to send Weezy a DM on Instagram asking for an update on the project and Wayne actually responded to him, saying it’s coming in February.

“Feb my G,” Weezy responded in the DM.
