Fans React To Rihanna Playing Chris Brown In The Background Of Her Fenty Lip Gloss Promo

Chris Brown and Rihanna once dated and he assaulted her many years ago,  while the two have left the past behind and continues to be friends, fans are not cool with it.

Chris Brown has been stalking Rihanna on instagram for a while now, leaving thirsty comments on her pictures. He even went as far as photoshopping his face into Rihanna’s lingerie photo.

Riri has finally responded to his playful antics by playing his song in the background of her Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss promo video.

But instead of fans to focus on the merchandise at hand, they couldn’t help but notice Chris Brown’s song, “Come Together”, playing in the background.

While it appears she’s forgiven him, her fans haven’t and they’re requesting she delete the video. “The facts Chris Brown music is playing to a fenty ad is disrespectful af,” a fan commented.

“Rihanna be making some of us look stupid for ever bashing Chris brown,” another tweeted.

In my perspective, it goes beyond his actions towards her. Chris Brown is unapologetically an abusive homophobic colourist, and for Rihanna to overlook the weight his music carries comes across as disingenuous to all that her current brand stands for.
