Kanye West’s ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Cover Art

Kim Kardashian let the cat out of the closet a month ago revealing that her husband Kanye West is dropping a gospel themed project “Jesus Is King” and fans have been highly anticipating the release.

Kanye West hasn’t dropped any project this year but it seems we’re about hearing a well packed body of work from Ye.

Kim Kardashian teased that the album will drop on Sunday but it didn’t and we’re not so surprised about that.

Most importantly, Kanye spent the weekend previewing the project in different states. Kanye kicked off the weekend with an event in Detroit, titled ‘Jesus Is King : A Kanye West Experience

Subsequently, it is also the title of the IMAX film that will be premiering on October 25th in IMAX Theaters. The film documents Ye’s Sunday Service choir performing at James Turrell’s Roden Carter art installation in Arizona’s Painted Desert.

‘Jesus Is King : A Kanye West Experience’ later held in New York on Sunday night, after hosting the weekly Sunday Service in Queens. Crowd at the Manhattan’s United Palace get more than they bargained. They didn’t only get a glimpse of the film, but also the Jesus Is King album.

Clips of an overwhelmed crowd crowd hearing the album’s Clipse-assisted track, “Use This Gospel”, have been circulating on twitter ever since.

The song also features a saxophone section by none other than Kenny G.

Kanye West also revealed the album’s cover by projecting it on a giant screen. “If I could describe this album cover it would be Biblical Art piece meets Microsoft Paint,” a twitter user shared.
