Few days ago, Miley Cyrus was seen kissing Cody Simpson in a restaurant just after ending her relationship with Kaitlyn Carter.

The public display of affection made fans attacked and kinda slut shamed her.

Miley later responded in a lengthy message on her Instagram story, explaining how this slut-shaming evidences a double standard.

She points out how men rarely, if ever get called out for moving on too quickly from past relationships and, instead, are showered in praise when they do.

And for all those arguing that she should at least conduct her romantic affairs at home if she doesn’t want to be judged, she highlighted the vulnerability and boredom of solely dating at home.

“I am trying to just THRIVE/survive in a ‘mans’ world,” Cyrus added. “If we can’t beat em, join em!”

It appears her new found love Cody is still by her side and has even come to her aid since the singer has been hospitalized with tonsillitis.

Miley Cyrus shared video showing Cody Simpson serenading her with his guitar on her instagram story. “Suddenly I am feeling much better,” Miley captioned her video. “This sweeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeetest song he just wrote for me.”
